ZymeStar is a solid product based on food grade sodium hydrogen carbonate, declared as a basic substance in accordance with the approval of Execution Regulation (EU) No. 2015/2069 of the European Commission.

ZymeStar is not used mainly for phytosanitary purposes but it is useful for plant health as demonstrated by the report SANTE/10667/2015 according to the specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia.

ZymeStar presents a multiple mode of action of a physical nature, acting at different levels. Once in contact with the hyphae and spores of the pathogen, they disintegrate and dry by osmotic action, preventing mycelial growth and infection in the plant.

In addition, given its alkaline nature, it causes a change in pH on the surface of the plant that hinders the development of fungi.

ZymeStar is an organic, natural, non-toxic product without risk to human, animal or environmental health and, therefore, it can be used in organic farming.
